‘Encased in a world of resin, lies the timeless tale of the fleur’

From regarding flowers as gifts of love and joy to fantasizing a peaceful day among lush, green meadows, flowers have always been objects of our admiration and fantasy.

As we grow, we are entranced by the magic woven with words describing nature by poets and authors. We then yearn to be amongst a host of daffodils as described by William Wordsworth or hope to discover the key to a secret garden of sparkling rare flora.

We always have a flower we associate ourselves with, but seldom find a way to keep it close to our hearts. We buy them, but their dry withering states crush our hearts when we have to throw them away.

To this end, I’d like to introduce ‘the alchemy of nature‘ i.e. Earthly Celestial.

Similarly, we use botanicals like flowers, leaves, ferns, mushrooms and other Earthly elements like crystals, shells, glass, metals, woods, and turn them into a piece of art whether it’s a jewellery, a keepsake or something ornamental.

This whole process of incorporating all these Earthly elements into one piece is magical to us.

Hence, we describe it as an ALCHEMY.

The final outcome of all these Earthly elements exudes divinity hence, Celestial

Meet The Artist

Purnita is the maker behind Earthly Celestial.

A self taught jewelry designer, Purnita uses traditional techniques to hand-craft each piece in her home studio.

She believes strongly in retaining the sacred relationship between artist and artpiece, so she is solely and personally responsible for painstakingly creating each piece for her customers. She works in her home studio in Mumbai, India.
